Farm Shop Biosecurity
To help protect the health and wellbeing of our birds, we ask that all visitors follow these simple biosecurity guidelines while visiting our farm shop:
* Please visit the farm shop area only. All other areas of the property are private and strictly out of bounds. There is a sandpit, garden and grass area within the farm shop fence which children are very welcome to play in.
* Please do not touch, handle or reach into the brooders. Our chicks are viewed from outside the brooder only.
* Birds can be purchased with the assistance of a staff member once you have made your selection.
* Please do not bring used pet carriers, cages, boxes or bedding onto the property.
* For the safety of our animals, no pets or other animals are permitted on the farm.
* If you keep poultry and have any sick or unwell birds at home, please postpone your visit until the issue has been resolved.
* Visits outside our advertised opening hours are by appointment only.
* Please follow any additional biosecurity instructions provided by staff during your visit.
