Ordering Information
Orders for our beautiful fertile hatching eggs will open for the 2024/2025 season on June 1st at 9.00am, with supply from early July.
CURRENT OPENING HOURS ARE;
Tuesdays - 10am -12noon (or by appointment 12noon to 2pm)
Saturdays 10am - 12noon (or later in the day by appointment)
Other times and days are also available by appointment.
We have changed things a little this year to provide a better service, so if you are wishing to order, please read on.
Being a boutique business and valuing quality over quantity we are allocating a maximum weekly egg order limit per pen.
PURE BREEDS - all standard size:
Cream Legbar Import lines - 1 dozen per week
Cream Legbar Australian lines - 1 dozen per week
Wheaten Marans - 1 dozen per week (ORDERS ARE CLOSED FOR THIS TEAM DUE TO REACHING CAPACITY FOR THE SEASON.)
Andalusian (blue & splash) - 3 dozen per week
Double Laced Barnevelder - 2 dozen per week
Exchequer Leghorn - 1 dozen per week
Pure breed mystery mix - 3 dozen per week
JUST FOR FUN RANGE:
Coloured egg standard rainbow range - 3 dozen per week
Coloured egg mini rainbow range (bantam) - 3 dozen per week
Olive egg standard rainbow range - 1 dozen per week
Pink egg standard rainbow range - 1 dozen per week
Standard all colour mystery mix - 2 dozen per week
You can order as many eggs as you like over the course of the season, and you can also request specific dates and intervals for your eggs.
Orders for multiple breeds/pens will most likely be available at different times.
Obviously, our hens lay more eggs than we allocate for purchase. The additional eggs including the eggs that are laid outside the collection window for the week will go into our incubators at home.
This allows us to select only the highest quality and freshest most viable eggs for you, and allows us to hatch out a good number of chicks at home to keep accurate records on fertility and then also have a good range of chicks available for purchase.
When ordering, There are two main ways to order.
For immediate dispatch or collection:
Pop across to our online shop and you will easily see the eggs we have available for you to purchase. Simply follow the prompts to complete your order.
Quantities are updated regularly to reflect the eggs immediately available.
Postage orders for eggs will only be sent on Monday & Tuesdays
For pre-order or to book specific dates:
Please specify in your email;
*The exact breed/s and quantity of eggs you want.
*If you would like a particular date for them to be ready (this may not always be possible, particularly with short notice or on our more popular breeds - so get in early)
*Orders for multiple breeds will most likely be available at different times.

1 dozen $30 (and half dozens)

Express postage and new genuine EGGPRESS safe foam packaging, labels, other packaging and handling is included in this pricing.
The postage price is additional to the egg price.

Once you have placed your order, you will receive a conformation email but this may take a day or two.
Orders will be processed in the same order that we receive them from you.
You will not loose your place in the line.
Large orders and scheduled regular orders are more than welcome – just ask.
We will do our best to give you an approximate timeframe as to when your order will be ready in our initial reply.
At least a fortnight prior to your order being ready, we will email you again to confirm your order and send you an invoice. Eggs must be paid for the week prior to being ready. If your eggs are not paid for, you will not receive them.
If you are having your eggs posted, they will be lodged by 9am Monday or Tuesday morning and we will text your personal tracking link directly to your mobile phone or online order reply email.
If you are collecting your eggs, you can on Tuesday or Saturday mornings from our farm shop, when we are open between 10am and 12 noon. We have other times by appointment.
The other option for eggs is to come and see us at our farm shop on Tuesday or Saturday mornings from 10am to 12noon and we will have a selection of eggs for you to choose from as individual eggs, so you can mix and match from what we have on the day.
We have been sending eggs out for many years and every year we value your feedback and look at how we do things to provide you the best possible service we can.
This season is going to be fantastic and we have some amazing breeding teams ready to lay you some beautiful eggs.
